Frequently Asked Questions

Everything you need to know about our premium exterior screens.

How can you add privacy to your garden?

If you are looking for a quick and easy way to screen your garden and make it feel more private and secluded, the careful placement of a decorative screen panel is the perfect solution.

When positioned correctly, our decorative panels provide much-needed privacy for you and your family, shielding patios, hot tubs, and seating areas from overlooked angles. They also double as stylish boundaries, allowing you to break your garden into dedicated architectural zones.

Gardens are the heart of the home. They are spaces to host loved ones, enjoy summer evenings, and connect with nature. By opting for a natural, laser-cut design—such as our botanical and leaf patterns—natural light can still filter through. This ensures your space feels secluded and secure, without ever feeling enclosed or blocking the sun.

What materials are your garden screens made from?

We manufacture our screens using premium 3mm Aluminum Composite Material (ACM). This is a highly durable, commercial-grade architectural material.

Unlike traditional wooden trellis or mild steel, ACM is entirely weatherproof, UV-stable, and rust-proof. It provides the heavy-duty structural feel of solid metal but is lightweight enough for easy installation and requires absolutely zero maintenance.

Are all of the products weatherproof?

Yes, absolutely. Every screen we produce from our Aluminum Composite Material (ACM) is 100% weatherproof. It is specifically engineered to withstand the harsh UK climate.

The material is UV-stable (so the color will not fade in the sun), completely waterproof (it will never swell, rot, or warp like timber), and rust-proof (unlike mild steel). You can confidently install them anywhere in your garden, including directly next to hot tubs or water features.

How heavy are your products, will I be able to lift them?

Despite their premium metal look and structural strength, our screens are surprisingly lightweight and easy to handle. This makes DIY installation straightforward without the need for heavy lifting equipment.

  • Small (600mm x 600mm): Approx. 1.5 kg
  • Medium (1200mm x 600mm): Approx. 2.8 kg
  • Large (1800mm x 900mm): Approx. 6.5 kg

A single person can easily carry and position the small and medium panels, while the large panels can easily be managed by one to two people when fixing them to posts or fences.

How do I install my privacy panels?

Our screens are designed for easy DIY installation and can be mounted in several ways depending on your space:

  • Direct to Fences: Simply drill and screw the panels directly into existing heavy-duty timber fences to instantly modernize your boundaries.
  • Freestanding: Mount the panels between timber or aluminum posts set into the ground for dedicated zoning and hot tub privacy.
  • Wall Mounted: Use stainless steel standoffs to mount the screens slightly away from masonry walls, creating incredible shadow effects as the sun moves.
Do the screens require painting or maintenance?

No. This is a "fit and forget" product. Because they are made from pre-finished Aluminum Composite, they will never rot, warp, or rust. You will never need to spend your weekends sanding or painting them. If they gather dust or pollen, simply wipe them down or gently hose them off.

Can I design my own panel?

Yes! Because we machine all of our screens in-house at our UK factory, we have full control over the manufacturing process. If you have a specific vision, a company logo, or a custom geometric pattern for a landscaping project, we can bring it to life.

We can accept vector files (such as .EPS, .AI, or .DXF), or our design team can work with you to draft a custom pattern. Please reach out via our Contact page to discuss your bespoke design requirements and receive a quote.
